Generation Kill, an American thrash metal band from Congers, New York, was formed in 2008 by Rob Dukes and Rob Moschetti. The initial lineup included guitarists Jason Trenczer and Louis Lehman, along with drummer Sam Inzerra. Their debut album, Red White and Blood, released in 2011, via Season of Mist, was recorded in Dukes' home due to financial constraints. The album narrates the story of a war veteran turned serial killer due to post-war trauma. Following its release, Lehman and Inzerra left the band, replaced by Jason Velez and Jim DeMaria. Dissatisfied with the promotion from their label, Generation Kill sought a new one. They signed with Nuclear Blast in 2013 after touring Europe with Heathen. Their second album, We’re All Gonna Die, produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris, was released in 2013. The band collaborated with Darryl McDaniels of Run–DMC for the 2017 album MKUltra.
