MULVEY is the ambient music project of Canadian composer and multi-instrumentalist Isaac Alstad, based in Langley, British Columbia. Working within the organic ambient genre, MULVEY blends evolving textures, natural atmospheres, and delicate instrumental layers to create immersive, introspective soundscapes. His work draws on a diverse musical background that includes years of church performance and proficiency in piano, guitar, and drums, resulting in compositions that are both emotionally grounded and sonically expansive. Inspired by artists such as John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and Ólafur Arnalds, Isaac’s creative process is rooted in exploration and guided by instinct. His music frequently connects with listeners who seek ambient music with nature sounds, spiritual warmth, and contemplative energy.
