Logan Staats, a Mohawk singer from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory, Ontario, Canada, began his musical journey in his teens, inspired by artists like Buffy Sainte-Marie. He started performing live shows across Turtle Island and released his debut album Goodbye Goldia on June 21, 2015. Staats gained significant attention through his appearance in the Canadian documentary When They Awake (2017), which celebrated Indigenous artists. In 2018, he achieved mainstream success by winning the first season of CTV's The Launch, leading to the release of his single "The Lucky Ones," which hit Number 1 on the Canadian iTunes chart. Staats has since released additional singles such as "Fear of the Flame" (March 15, 2019) and his latest album A Light in the Attic released in 2023.
