YaadUniverse was founded by entrepreneur Brian Mugaragumbo back in 2012. A trio that comprise of YaadKing BmG (Brian Mugaragumbo), YaadPrince Mantina (Nashe Emmanuel Makaza) and Mcky (Michael Tinashe Munyama).
It emerged back in 2012 as a distribution movement under the name YaadRawtid Reverb Entertainment and later on evolved into becoming an artist and record label and rebranded its maiden name to YaadUniverse Premiere.In 2013/14 it released projects like YaadRawtid Riddim, Yellow Bone Riddim and to mention a few produced by Master Gridza. Then in 2015 it welcomed Sparta Q and released the Toppa Toppa Riddim.
Moreover, in 2018 it welcomed Mcky, a multi talented and genre producer with a series of beatapes which include LiT, Up Beat & Never Satisfied.Later on we started in engaging various in artists working on different solo proper projects rather than beatapes. Most of them have been produced by him since he is the household Producer to date.
In 2019, we released our first EP in partnership with Sherkhy and fellow brother DJ Shammah on an EP called SOS (Say or Sex). It featured 5 songs which some of them where produced by Mcky and the other by DJ Shammah.In the same year we had the opportunity to work With Tanaka Ghad Hingie on a YaadUniverse Freestyle.
2020 started on high note as we worked with Dush and Andreana in Nothin On You and released an EP by Mcky called Love or Lust. To elucidate, we worked with CruiseZW in Down Or Nah.And then there is the RAiG by Mcky.
