Ancient Infinity Orchestra

Formada a finales de la década de 2010, Ancient Infinity Orchestra es un colectivo británico de jazz fundado y dirigido por el bajista Ozzy Moysey. Con sede en Leeds, el grupo reúne a una quincena de músicos de la escena del jazz contemporáneo del norte de Inglaterra. Inspirada en el jazz espiritual y modal de los años 60 y 70, especialmente en Pharoah Sanders, Alice Coltrane y Sun Ra, la música del grupo es a la vez meditativa y expansiva, y combina improvisación libre, armonías modales y texturas orquestales. Su primer álbum autoproducido, Solar Seasons, se publicó en enero de 2020, seguido de River of Light (2023), producido por Matthew Halsall y publicado por Gondwana Records. Este último fue aclamado por su dimensión cósmica e introspectiva. En 2025, el colectivo firmó It's Always About Love, que incluía un homenaje a Don Cherry ("Chant for Don Cherry").
