The Beu Sisters, a pop-rock girl group from New Smyrna Beach, Florida, were formed in 2002 by sisters Candice Beu, Christie Beu, Jiliane Beu, and Danielle Beu. Originally from New York City, the family moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1988, where the sisters began performing as an a cappella act before being discovered by songwriter and producer Desmond Child. Their debut album, Decisions, was released in 2002, featuring nine co-written tracks including the lead single "I Was Only (Seventeen)". The Beu Sisters opened for Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken on their 2004 Independent Tour and contributed to various soundtracks. After signing with Sony/Columbia Records in 2005, contractual delays led them to return home. In 2012, the group released Beu~tiful Collection under their own label, Beach Breakz Records, marking a comeback without Jiliane Beu.
