Pissgrave is an American death metal band founded in 2013 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by guitarists Tim Mellon and Demian Fenton, drummer Matt Mellon, and bassist John Guarracino. The band released a self‑titled demo in 2014 on Graceless Recordings, gaining attention for its raw production and extreme sound. In 2015, after signing with Profound Lore Records, they issued the full‑length Suicide Euphoria, produced by Arthur Rizk, and embarked on an American tour that led to bassist John Guarracino’s departure and replacement by Brad Dumville. Their 2019 album Posthumous Humiliation was highlighted by Pitchfork and Exclaim! as one of the best death metal releases of the year.
