Bombus, a Swedish heavy metal band from Göteborg, was founded in 2008 by drummer Frederik "Fefe" Berglund and guitarist Mattias "Matte" Säker. The band's initial lineup included bassist Ulf Lundén and drummer Peter Asp. In 2009, Bombus released two 7-inch singles through Mourningwood Recordings, followed by their self-titled debut album in 2010. The band gained significant attention with the release of "Apparatus" in 2013, which preceded their second studio album The Poet and the Parrot (2013). This album debuted at number 14 on the Swedish album charts. Bombus signed with Century Media Records in April 2013 and embarked on extensive tours supporting acts like Danko Jones and The Sword. Their third album, Repeat Until Death, was released in 2016. Notable performances include appearances at Rock am Ring, Download Festival, and Tuska Open Air Metal Festival.
