Son of Bazerk, an American hip hop group formed in the mid-1980s, originally known as Townhouse 3. The group consisted of Tony Allen, Jeffrey Height, Gary Pep Stanton, and Cassandra Jackson. They changed their name after gaining the attention of Hank Shocklee, a member of the Bomb Squad production team. Their debut album, Bazerk Bazerk Bazerk, released in 1991 and produced by the Bomb Squad, included notable singles such as "Change The Style" and "Bang (Get Down, Get Down)!" Despite positive reviews, the album did not achieve significant commercial success. After a hiatus of nearly two decades, Son of Bazerk reunited and released Well Thawed Out in 2010 on Chuck D's label Slam Jamz. This comeback received praise from media outlets such as The Village Voice and Time Out.
