Flim & the BB's was an American contemporary jazz band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, active from 1978 to 1992. The group consisted of bassist Jimmy Johnson, percussionist Bill Berg, and keyboardist Billy Barber, with woodwind player Dick Oatts joining as a full member after appearing as a guest on their self-titled debut album in 1978. They began their career as studio musicians and became pioneers in digital recording. Their second album, Tricycle (1983), was the first non-classical recording released in the compact disc format. Barber composed the theme song for the television soap opera All My Children, a version of which appeared on their final studio album, This Is a Recording (1992).
