The Durango Riot, a Swedish rock band from Karlskoga, was formed in 2005. The group began their career by touring Germany without a booking agent and released their debut EP, Beat the Kids, in 2006. Their first full-length album, Telemission, was released in 2007 under Fuzzorama Records. In 2012, they released Backwards Over Midnight, produced by Joe Barresi, known for his work with Queens of the Stone Age and Tool. The band supported notable acts such as Social Distortion, Die Toten Hosen, Billy Talent, and Kraftklub during their tours. Their third album, Face, was released in 2014 under Last Bullet/Soulfood. In October 2014, they opened for Mustasch in Germany and embarked on a headlining tour in the same country early the following year. The Durango Riot's music is characterized by powerful guitar solos and dynamic drumming, showcasing their versatility within the rock genre.
