The Moon Invaders is a Belgian ska and rocksteady band formed in Wallonia in 2001. After performing under various names and different lineups, they adopted their current moniker in 2001. The group released their debut five-track EP, First Wave, in April 2002, followed by their self-titled debut studio album, The Moon Invaders, in 2003, which was recorded with producer Victor Rice and featured the tracks “Fool Again” and “Shame and Sorrow”. They released the album Breakin' Free in 2005, also produced by Rice, followed by Moovin' 'n' Groovin' in 2007, which was produced by Vic Ruggiero. In 2010, they released the live album Live at the AB Club, recorded in Brussels. The band followed with the studio album The Fine Line in 2011, which drew on soul, funk, jazz, and roots reggae influences. In 2021, they collaborated with the Dutch band The Upsessions on the album Ride on Donkey / Walk Don't Run, released on Badasonic Records.
