Amylie Boisclair, also known as Amylie, was born on September 8, 1982, in Mascouche, Quebec, Canada, and began her musical journey as a singer‑songwriter. She released her debut single and album Jusqu'aux Oreilles in November 2008 under Audiogram, featuring the track "Mes oreilles", which marked her entry into the Canadian music scene. In April 2012, she issued her second album Le Royaume, followed by Les Éclats in 2016. Both albums expanded her audience within indie and pop circles. In 2014, she collaborated with Bénabar on Inspiré de faits réels, singing the duet "Titus et Bérénice" and touring with him. Her work continued with the 2024 release Ma lumière et mon ombre, solidifying her presence in contemporary Quebec music.
