Ceann fue un grupo de rock estadounidense de Pittsburgh, Pensilvania, formado en 1999 por Patrick Halloran y Marc Wisnosky mientras estudiaban en la Universidad de Pittsburgh. Al principio tocaban canciones irlandesas de pub y canciones originales para una fiesta del Día de San Patricio, pero pronto ampliaron su repertorio para incluir éxitos pop. Su primer álbum, Key'-anna 'Ka-ka, se grabó en 2001 con James Telfer al bajo y el violín. El grupo fue ganando adeptos actuando por todo el noreste de Estados Unidos. La banda acortó su nombre a Ceann en 2005 y publicó Almost Irish en 2006. Entre sus canciones destacan "Pittsburgh Makes Me Drunk" y "The Sun is My Least Favorite Star", que apareció en el álbum homenaje The Legend of Handsome Pat. El vocalista Patrick Halloran murió en un accidente de coche en 2011. La música de Ceann mezclaba influencias irlandesas con temas contemporáneos.
