Dark Millennium is a German death metal band from Bad Fredeburg formed around 1990. They released their first demo, The Apocryphal Wisdom (1991), and followed it with Of Sceptre Their Ashes May Be (1992). In 1992, they signed to Massacre Records and released their debut album, Ashore the Celestial Burden. They embarked on tours including the Shadows in the Deep Tour with Unleashed and Tiamat. Their second studio album, Diana Read Peace, was released in 1993. Despite these efforts, they disbanded in February 1994. In the early 2010s, fan interest led to a Facebook page and re-releases of their albums. They reformed in 2016, releasing the album Midnight in the Void that same year. They released the albums Where Oceans Collide (2018) and Acid River (2022), both on Massacre Records. They subsequently announced the album Come (2026), featuring the single "Amber".
