Sin Dios was a Spanish hardcore punk band formed in Madrid in 1988 by drummer Canino and guitarist Pepe following a trip to Asturias. The band’s first demo, Sin dios... ni amo, was released in 1990, establishing their anti-capitalist and anarchist focus. In 1991, they issued the album Ruido Anticapitalista, followed by Alerta Antifascista in 1993. After a brief hiatus, they returned in 1997 with the album Guerra a la Guerra, which sold 15,000 copies, featured new bassist Pepino, and prompted a European tour. Subsequent releases include the live album Solidaridad (1999), recorded to support persecuted anarchists in Brazil, as well as the albums Ingobernables (2000), Odio al Imperio (2002), and Recortes de Libertad (2003). The band dissolved in 2006.
