Linkup was a French boy band formed in 2003 through the third season of the television talent show Popstars. The trio consisted of Matthieu Tota (later known as M. Pokora), Lionel Tim, and Otis Guilon. Linkup entered the national music scene with the debut single “Mon étoile” in 2003, which reached Number 1 on the French singles chart and earned a Gold certification. Later that year, the band released the debut studio album Notre étoile, which reached number 3 on the French album chart and received a double Gold certification, followed by the single “Une seconde d'éternité”, which reached number 20. In 2004, Linkup collaborated with the British group Blue on the single “You and Me Bubblin'”, which reached number 13 on the French chart, before disbanding later that year.
