Brassen's Not Dead is a French punk rock group from Toulouse, Haute-Garonne, formed in 2006 to reinterpret the songs of Georges Brassens in a punk style. The band released their self-titled debut album, Brassen's Not Dead, in 2006, followed by Brassen's Not Dead, volume 2 (2009) and Brassen's Not Dead, volume 3 (2011). They became known for energetic live performances, which sometimes featured guest appearances by Delfi, a deaf actress who translated songs into sign language. The group performed at venues including the Bikini in Ramonville and participated in events such as the Concert contre l'extrême droite et ses idées (2014) in Toulouse. Their fourth album, Brassen's Not Dead, volume 4, was released in 2017.
