Walter Giardino Temple, an Argentinian musical project led by guitarist Walter Giardino, was formed in 1998 following the dissolution of Rata Blanca. The band's debut album, Walter Giardino Temple, featured Norberto Rodriguez on vocals and included notable tracks such as "Corte Porteño" and "Azul y Negro". After a brief hiatus due to the reformation of Rata Blanca, Giardino reactivated Walter Giardino Temple in 2012 for tribute concerts featuring Joe Lynn Turner. The band toured extensively with various lineups, including Javier Barrozo as a guest vocalist providing Spanish vocals and Ronnie Romero as vocalist for a tour in 2017.
