San Miguelito is a traditional Colombian music group from Tunja, Boyacá, founded in 2006 by brothers Efraín Albarracín Barón, Edwin Albarracín Barón, and Fernando Albarracín Barón. The trio initially sought to modernize the carranga genre, blending it with contemporary styles like rock, pop, vallenato, tropipop, champeta, and tropical music. Their debut album, Caído del cielo pa' gozar (2006), featured songs such as "Mosaico Carranguero" and "San Miguelito Arriero". In 2010, their third album, Por fin... por fin..., included hits like "La Media Arepa" and "El Golero Emparamao", earning them multiple nominations at various music awards. Their 2015 album, Atrevido, was pre-nominated for a Latin Grammy in the Best Contemporary Tropical Album category. Other notable albums include Por retenerte (2008) and the compilation Puro Folclor (2012). Notable singles include "El Turco Perro", "La China Que Yo Tenía", and "Ni Mañana Ni Pasado Mañana" (2020).
