Glare is an American grungegaze band from the Lower Rio Grande Valley, Texas, established in 2014. The ensemble was originally known by the name Dispirit and was influenced by musicians including Superheaven and Title Fight. Their recording career began with the release of the songs "Into Me" (2017) and "Blank" (2017), which were recorded following a name change and a shift toward the shoegaze genre. Glare subsequently released the extended play Heavenly (2021) followed by the single "Mourning Haze" (2024). The ensemble released its debut studio recording Sunset Funeral (2025) followed by the singles "Guts" (2025) and "Nü Burn" (2025). Their discography also included the singles "Void in Blue" (2018) and "Bloom" (2023). Glare has performed international tours of the United States and has reached wider visibility for a musical style characterized as a combination of shoegaze and soft grunge. The ensemble consists of Toni Ordaz and Homero Solis. Austin Barrientos and Jes Morales were former members of the group.
