Sherif Abdelmeged (B. October, in Cairo) is an Egyptian Guitarist, Singer-Songwriter. known for his Bluesy Vocals. He plays a powerful and inspired mix of Contemporary Blues, Soul, and Alternative Rock.
Sherif first picked up a guitar at the age of 18, playing with many musicians, bands in the underground music Scene. He is widely considered one of the most Blues influential electric guitarists in Middle East. Sherif formed the very first Blues band in Egypt, back in 2008. The band played few shows and tried to record their original songs. after a long pause, Sherif released an independent EP El Atr in 2017, followed by self-produced singles in 2018, a new single Mathabetsh in 2019, lately couple of singles in 2020, and an Acoustic collection for songs like Wist Elzeham (Acoustic), Ghareeb, and Estihala - Live Acoustic. His latest collab with Mai Kamal got featured on NRJ Egypt Radio.
In the last few years, sherif went solo and presented himself as an independent artist. He also wrote the original score for many short films and Mixed various artists (Albums/Singles), As well as Co-wrote/produced the intro theme for the International squash championship 2017.
