Comida China was a new wave-electro-pop band formed in 1982 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The group was founded by Rafael Bini, who composed the songs and lyrics for the band. Comida China featured several prominent musicians from the Argentine pop, rock, and new wave scenes of the 1980s, including Daniel Melingo, Miguel Zavaleta, Fabiana Cantilo, Hilda Lizarazu, and Zorrito Von Quintiero. The band went through various lineups but achieved stability with their first and only album Laberinto de pasiones, released in 1985 and produced by Rafael Bini and Camilo Iezzi. Comida China disbanded in 1987. Following the breakup, Rafael Bini pursued a career in journalism, literature, and radio broadcasting in Buenos Aires.
