Adam Andrzej Ostrowski, known professionally as O.S.T.R., was born on May 15, 1980, in Łódź, Poland. He is a rapper, record producer, and musician who graduated as a violinist from the Academy of Music in Łódź. He made his official album debut with Masz To Jak W Banku (2001), followed by Tabasko (2002). Jazz became an important influence on his production, particularly on Jazz w wolnych chwilach (2003) and Jazzurekcja (2004). Throughout his career, O.S.T.R. has collaborated with Polish and international artists, including Emade, Hades, Evidence, Keith Murray, and Marco Polo. His collaborative projects include HAOS (2013) with Hades and Kartagina (2014) with Marco Polo. His album Podróż Zwana Życiem (2015) was certified double Platinum, followed by Życie po śmierci (2016), which became one of his major commercial successes. His later releases include XX (2024) and 404 (2025)
