Nicholas Tristan Phillip Helm, known as Nick Helm, was born on October 1, 1980, in London, England. He is a comedian, actor, and rock musician recognized for his comedic confrontational delivery. While attending Sandringham Secondary School, Helm began writing and performing, taking shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the early 2000s with increasing success. By 2010, he gained prominence following his show Keep Hold of the Gold. In 2012, Helm released his album, Dare to Dream, followed by Hot 'n' Heavy in 2013. He appeared regularly on BBC Three series and performed songs with backing band The Helmettes. In 2014, he made his main acting debut as Andy in the BBC Three sitcom Uncle.
