Nadja Nevolovitsch is a German and Russian classical violinist born on 30 March 1984 in Leningrad. She began studying the violin at age six and entered the class of Zakhar Bron in Lübeck in 1997. During her early career, she received special prizes at the Toshya Eto Competition (1997) and the Henryk Wieniawski Competition (2000) before winning first prize at the “Jugend musiziert” (2001) competition. She earned a master’s degree from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in 2008 and released the chamber music album Beş Damla (2010) with pianist Nora Bosch. In 2011, Nevolovitsch began performing on a 1731 Camillus Camilli violin and released the studio album Encounters (2011), featuring works by Kreisler and Pärt. She received a second prize at the Sion-Valais festival in 2005 and a first prize at the European Competition for Young Soloists in 2005. She was appointed professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in September 2021.
