Magali Lange obtained her Diploma of Musical Studies in Baroque Singing at the prestigious « Centre de
Musique Baroque » in Versailles, after studying theater, singing and musicology at the Bordeaux
conservatory and university.
She then took part in numerous concerts of baroque music, in France and abroad.
With a passion for jazz, Magali Lange performs in many jazz ensembles and cabaret troupes in parallel.
In 2013, she appeared alone on stage with 5 musicians at the Palais des Congrès in Paris in a show mixing
French songs and classical singing.
In 2015 she was as soloist for « Le Tour des Cathédrales » with Laurent Mignard's Duke Orchestra on Duke
Ellington's sacred music.
Since 2014, she has devoted herself to jazz and musical comedy as a performer and composer in the
company "L'Aube d'un soir". She co-wrote the musical comedy " Un Noël à New-York " ( A Christmas in
NY), for which she composed the music " 100% Jazz " (15 performances in Paris) and gives solo or group
concerts: " Chants de Noël (Christmas carols) et Gospels " in vocal trio " Swing Etc. " in vocal quartet and "
Le Concert dont Vous êtes les Héros ": singing, piano and drums with the live participation of the
audience.
Always passionate about polyphony, she conducts children's choirs for the Philarmonie de Paris, she
directed the Equestrian Academy choir (Bartabas direction) for three years, and she has beenthe
choirmaster of "Wide Spirit", the Gospel-Jazz vocal ensemble of Viroflay (78) since 2005.
