Noyau Dur is a French hip-hop group founded in 2000, comprising Pit Baccardi, Ärsenik (Lino and Calbo), and Neg' Marrons (Jacky Brown and Ben-J). Their early work appeared on compilations such as Secteur Ä All Stars, with the collective contributing to tracks like "Le Public respecte" and "Dead" on Neg' Marrons' album Héritage. In late 2005, the group released its debut album ND (Dur est le noyau), produced by Spike Miller, Skread, Djimi Finger, and Yvan and Medeline, featuring collaborations with K.ommando Toxik, Mystik, and MC Janik. To promote the album, Noyau Dur embarked on a 40-date tour across France that began on February 2, 2006 at Glazart in Paris. The group released music videos for its songs, notably for "Viens", which depicted an illegal festive gathering in a secret venue.
