Corrie Dick is a Scottish drummer and composer who was born in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1990. He is famous for leading his own ensemble and for his role in the group Dinosaur, which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize in 2017. Dick studied jazz at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and achieved early professional recognition in 2013 after winning the BBC Radio Scotland Young Scottish Jazz Musician of the Year Competition. In 2023, he performed as a featured soloist with the BBC Concert Orchestra at the BBC Proms. His discography includes the solo studio recordings Impossible Things (2015) and Sun Swells (2022), and the EP Embers (2016). He is also part of the duo project Norman&Corrie with the saxophonist Norman Willmore and has collaborated on recordings including Together, As One (2016).
