Firespawn is a Swedish death metal ensemble from Stockholm formed in 2012. The group was founded as Fireborn by vocalist Lars-Göran Petrov, bassist Alex Impaler, and guitarist Victor Brandt. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style influenced by groups including Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, and early Slayer. Their recording career began with the track “Lucifer Has Spoken” (2015), followed by the debut studio recording Shadow Realms (2015). Their discography includes the studio recordings The Reprobate (2017) and Abominate (2019), the latter of which reached number 83 on the Swiss charts. Following the death of Petrov in 2021, they resumed activity in 2025 with Jörgen Sandström.
