The Dizzy Brains are a Malagasy punk rock ensemble from Antananarivo formed in 2011. The ensemble was established by the brothers Eddy Andrianarisoa and Mahefa Andrianarisoa. They achieved professional recognition at the Libertalia Music Festival (2015), which led to a performance at the Rencontres Trans Musicales (2015). They were named the “Révélation des trans musicales de Rennes” (2015) after performing on the main stage. The ensemble signed with the label Libertalia-Music Records and is distributed by X-Ray Production. Their recording career includes the debut studio recording Mola Kely (2014) and the extended play Vangy (2015). Their discography includes the studio recordings Out of the Cage (2016), Tany Razana (2018), and Maso Mahita (2024). They achieve professional recognition for live performances and lyrics addressing corruption and inequality in Madagascar.
