Ulrich Zehfuß is a German singer, songwriter, and author born on January 15, 1973, in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. He founded the band BUNT on November 21, 1990. The group performed acoustic folk with dialect lyrics and received three awards from the Treffen Junge Musik-Szene in Berlin between 1991 and 1993. Zehfuß trained as a musical performer at the MAD-Academy and performed in the musical Human Pacific in 1995. BUNT released the album Man gehört einfach dazu in 2004 before disbanding in 2006. Zehfuß subsequently pursued a solo career and songwriting seminars for the Berliner Festspiele. He co-authored the children's novel Aiji, der kleine Samurai in 2012. His solo discography includes the albums Dünnes Eis (2016), Erntezeit (2020), and Liebe (2023).
