José Malhoa, born on September 28, 1947, in Belém, a district of Lisbon, is a Portuguese popular music singer. He began his musical journey by singing at Alves Rente dances and later collaborated extensively with composer Ricardo Landum. His breakthrough came with the song "Baile de Verão", which gained significant popularity and was later re-released on Facebook. Throughout his career, he has released numerous albums, including So de vez em quando (1994), Morena Kuduro (2011), which featured a kuduro-style theme, and Que Sorta a Minha (2019).
