Psychopunch is a Swedish punk 'n' roll band from Västerås, formed in 1998 by members of various punk, death metal, and rock 'n' roll bands. They released their debut album We Are Just as Welcome as Holy Water in Satan's Drink (1999), followed by Bursting Out of Chucky's Town (2000). They gained traction with their third album Original Scandinavian Superdudes (2001) and issued The Pleasure Kill (2002). They contributed the title track "Back in the Days" to the film Daily Dose in 2003 and transitioned to Silverdust Records, releasing Smashed on Arrival (2004). Their subsequent albums, including Kamikaze Love Reducer (2006) and Moonlight City (2008), received positive reviews from publications like Rock Hard and Metal Hammer. They performed at notable festivals such as Summer Breeze, Wacken Open Air, Vaya Con Tioz, and With Full Force. Other notable albums include Sweet Baby Octane (2015) and Greetings from Suckerville (2019).
