Nervous Cabaret, a punk-cabaret band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2002. The group's inception was marked by Elyas Khan's stage creation Fragmented Devotion To You, an operetta he conceived, wrote, and scored the music for, which debuted at the 2001 DUMBO Arts Festival. Nervous Cabaret released their debut album Nervous Cabaret in 2005 through Naïve Records, produced by Kenny Siegal. The band collaborated with notable artists such as Amanda Palmer and Sxip Shirey, performing at venues like the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, La Cigale theatre in Paris, and the Bijou Theater in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 2008, Nervous Cabaret performed at the Louvre in Paris. Their second album, Drop Drop, was released in 2007 through Naïve Records.
