Vanderbuyst, a Dutch hard rock band, formed in 2008 by guitarist Willem Verbuyst following the dissolution of Powervice. The band initially consisted of Verbuyst, Jochem Jonkman on vocals and bass, and Barry van Esbroek on drums. The band released a three-song EP in 2008, which led to early concerts across Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. In 2010, Vanderbuyst released their self-titled debut album on Ván Records, featuring a cover of UFO's "Rock Bottom" and the single "Stealing Your Thunder". The album was followed by extensive touring, including supporting Saxon on their European tour in May 2011. Their subsequent albums included In Dutch (2011), Flying Dutchmen (2012), and At the Crack of Dawn (2014). The group disbanded in 2015.
