Clem Garry is a French singer-songwriter born on March 19, 2002. A musician at heart, he studied guitar and music theory at the tender age of 7, even skipping a class before stopping prematurely 2 years later. Ever since he was a child, he's had a knack for finding the notes and chords of the songs he listens to. It was only later that he realized he had a relative ear for music.
As he grew up, he rediscovered the pleasure of playing guitar and discovered rock with AC/DC, Muse and Queen. It was then that he began to use his guitar and learn his first song on his own. From then on, he was determined to become a better player.
It wasn't until he was 15, however, that he decided to form a band with his childhood friends, the “Nayce Gaïzz”, where he played guitar and sang backing vocals. He composed and wrote some of the “Nayce Gaïzz” songs, including “Space Lost In”. They went on to play concerts all over the Yvelines region, for charity and for their own pleasure. They ended up winning a music competition in Fontenay-le-Fleury, their home town, called “Opens Talents”.
A year has gone by since their victory at the “Opens Talents”, and the group has decided to call it a day while everyone studies. But Clem didn't see it that way and decided to go solo, writing, composing and performing her own songs.
It was not until a few years later that he unveiled his first single and featuring with DynaMix, “Tonight”. At the same time, he met people who shared the same passion.
He continued to write and compose songs, but never released any on streaming platforms. Then, 1 year later, Christian Manzala spotted him and asked him to be the Artistic Musical Director for his Fashion Week show.
He composed and wrote a track that he played exclusively at the show, “Far From Home”, which he released a week later on platforms on March 10, 2023. He will also share the stage with Céphaz to perform Michael Jackson's Heal the World.
During the few years that Clem didn't release any songs, he took the opportunity to perform on stage with some of the biggest names in French chanson, including Chimène Badi and Julie Zenatti.
At the beginning of 2024, he will be taking to the social networks with his Instagram and Tiktok accounts, where he will be sharing acoustic or more produced covers of his favorite songs, and even sharing the occasional part of a compo he has written. On the occasion of the Fête de la Musique, he will be sharing the stage with Chimène Badi for a cover of her song “La-Haut”.
The year 2024 was only halfway through, however, and he didn't give up. He was then offered to do TV shows like “Star Academy” and “The Voice”, which he saw as an opportunity.
He will wait until the end of the summer to unveil a new track featuring Jacques Sully called “Eros”, which will be released accompanied by a video on YouTube.
