Da Skate, a punk group from Mercedes, Argentina, was formed in 2003 by Leandro Flores, Federico Flores, and Ramiro López. Their first EP in 2004 established their DIY ethic. The band’s first studio album, Bhopal, appeared in 2007 through Patea Records, followed by Piacenza in 2009 and Stalingrado in 2014, the latter self‑released after lineup changes. In 2017, they signed with Vegan Records and released Diecisiete, adding Nicolás Malinowsky on guitar. Their 2023 album Nefertiti explored Egyptian themes, continuing their tradition of politically conscious lyrics. The group has toured extensively across Argentine provinces and Chile, sharing stages with Cadena Perpetua and Dos Minutos.
