Planet Indigo was formed in 2018 by Hanna Westberg and Christoffer Särnefält. Their vision was to create rock music that was equally challenging for both ears and mind and settled for progressive rock as a wide description of how they wanted to sound and be perceived. The two came from different musical backgrunds, Hanna from riff-oriented stoner rock music and Chris from rock, jazz and musical but found common ground in the progressive/psychedelic rock music from the early 70s. Theodor Callersten was the first addition to the new outfit and join a couple of months after the band was formed. This started an exceptionally creative period for the band which would extend a little over a year. In 2019 the final pieces of the puzzle was found with the arrival och Julia Cook (keys) and Olle Lundberg (drums). An intense period followed of rehearsing and arranging. In december 2019 the band entered Svenska Grammofonstudion together with
Hans Olsson Brookes to start the recording of the Planetary Exit suite.
