Mellow Youth is a five-piece band formed in Tokyo in 2017 by Isa Sho (Vo/Gt), Ishimori Ryunosuke (Vo), Kidate Gito (Gt), Hidano Takeshi (Ba), and Abe Yuki (Dr.) The band released their first single for distribution in January 2021, "Actor's/ After debuting with the single "Actor's/Odor" in January 2021, the band released its first full-length album "Flash night" on April 20, 2022. The album includes many popular songs such as "Odor," "Midline," and "Run. In addition, the album "GOKAN" released in 2025 includes the hit song "STEP BY STEP". The genre of their sound is a fusion of pop, rock, AOR, acid jazz, etc. In 2019, "exPoP!!!!!" The band performed at "exPoP" in 2019 and received high praise for their enthusiastic live performance. They are still actively performing at festivals and touring.
