Chen Ying-git, born on October 15, 1953, is a Taiwanese singer known for her successful career in both Mandarin and Taiwanese music. She began singing professionally at 18 after leaving school to support her family and gained recognition with the theme song "Spring Breeze" in 1974. After releasing 15 Mandarin albums, she switched to Taiwanese songs in 1983, achieving major success with hits such as "Looking for Lover at the End of the World" and "Wind and Sand". Over her decades-long career, she released several albums, held her first concert in 2003, served as a judge on talent shows including The Rising Star, and later became a television producer.
