Andrea Buccarella, born on November 9, 1987, in Rome, is an Italian harpsichordist, organist, and conductor. He began his musical journey as a Puer Cantor in the prestigious choir of the Sistine Chapel from 1997 to 2000. Buccarella graduated with honors in organ and composition at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome in 2008, followed by a master's degree in harpsichord and historical keyboards under Enrico Baiano in 2016. In June 2018, he completed his master's in harpsichord at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis under Andrea Marcon. Buccarella gained recognition for his performance of Bach's Variations Goldberg and released an album titled Toccata, de Claudio Merulo à Jean-Sébastien Bach (2019). He won the First Prize at the Bruges Early Music Competition in 2018. Buccarella has also directed the Ensemble Abchordis, releasing albums such as Stabat Mater (2014) and Dies Irae (2016).
