Johannes Heil, born on February 3, 1978, in Bad Homburg, Germany, is a German record producer known for his contributions to electronic music and techno. His musical journey began at the techno bistro "Kanzleramt," where he started releasing productions under Heiko Laux's label since 1995. Heil’s debut single "Die Offenbarung" marked his initial breakthrough, followed by collaborations with Heiko Laux under the pseudonym Item One. Heil released several notable albums, including Reality To Midi in 1998 and Illuminate The Planet in 1999. His track "Paranoid Dancer" from Reality To Midi gained significant attention, leading to a successful remix album in 2002. Heil's work with DJ Slip expanded his reach into the U.S. market. Other notable releases include Freaks R Us (2006) and Loving (2010).
