Nicholas David Mack Muir is a British musician, songwriter, and electronic music producer who worked as a session pianist and keyboardist in the 1980s for acts such as Take That and The Men They Couldn't Hang. His early exposure to diverse styles led him to establish a programming space in Greenhouse studio, where he entered the nascent UK rave scene and released several solo EPs before attracting the attention of then‑upcoming DJ John Digweed. The partnership formed Bedrock. Muir’s discography expanded with the 2005 singles "Bride of Frankenstein" and "Savin' You", the 2007 releases "I Feel Real" and "Feedback from the City", and the 2014 album The Traveler. His work frequently appeared in film and television, including scores for Stark Raving Mad and Spider‑Man: The New Animated Series, the latter earning a Dancestar award in 2004 for Best Use of Music in a TV Show.
