Amelie Lens, born on May 31, 1990, in Vilvoorde, Belgium, is a DJ and producer known for her contributions to electronic music. At fifteen, after attending the Festival of Dour in 2006, she became deeply interested in techno music. Lens began her career as a DJ under the name Renée, focusing on minimalist techno with heavy basslines. She released her first EP, Exhale, in February 2016 and quickly followed it with Let It Go in August of the same year.
In 2017, Lens released several EPs including Contradiction, Stay with Me, and Nel. Her work gained significant attention, leading to performances at major events such as Sónar, Time Warp, Awakenings, and Movement Detroit. In November 2019, she released the DJ mix album, Fabric Presents Amelie Lens. She also performed a four-hour set for BBC Radio One in 2020. In 2026, she released her debut solo album, Aurra, featuring the duet "Run" with Angèle.
