Telstar Ponies

Telstar Ponies was a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 1994 by David Keenan. Their debut single "Maps and Starcharts" was released in 1994. The band's lineup evolved quickly, with Brendan O'Hare joining on drums and Gavin Laird and Rachel Devine replacing other members. Telstar Ponies' musical style blended influences from krautrock, folk, and experimental noise. Their first album In the Space of a Few Minutes was released in 1995, followed by Voices from the New Music (1996). The band split up in 1997 but reformed in 1999 without O'Hare. A third album was recorded but never released.
