Blind Zero, a rock band from Porto, Portugal, formed in 1994. Their debut single "Recognize" was released in 1995 and sold out in nine days. The group's first album, Trigger, produced by Ronnie S. Champagne, became one of the earliest Portuguese rock albums to achieve gold certification. In 1996, they released the experimental EP Flexogravity, which featured a collaboration with the hip-hop group Mind da Gap and was recognized as EP of the year. Blind Zero won the SCYPE festival with their song "My House". Their second album, Redcoast, produced by Michael Vail Blum and mastered at Sony Music studios in New York, was released in 1997. In 2003, they won the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Portuguese Act. The band continued with notable releases such as Kill Drama (2013) and Often Trees (2017).
