Zuriaake, also known by the Chinese name Zàngshīhú (葬尸湖), is a Chinese black metal band that formed in 1998 in Jinan, Shandong, China, founded by Bloodsea and Bloodfire. After adding Deadsphere in 2004, the band released the split Autumn of Sad Ode – Siming of Loulan (2005) with Yn Gizarm on Black Happiness Production, followed by its debut studio album, Afterimage of Autumn (2007), on Pest Productions. In 2015, the EP Gu Yan was issued and later expanded into a full album the same year, alongside the single “Yao Ji”. The group toured Europe in 2017, 2018, and 2019, performing at Steelfest Open Air, the Roadburn Festival, Brutal Assault, and Wacken Open Air, and signed with Season of Mist in March 2020. A box set, Season of Mist Recordings, was released on July 26, 2024, compiling both albums and several EPs.
