Ania Tarnowska, born November 2, 1980 in Łódź, Poland, is a Chicago-based musician, singer, composer, and producer. She studied classical guitar, piano, vocal performance, and music theory, graduating valedictorian from SAE Institute in 2016. Tarnowska launched I Ya Toyah in 2017 and released "Funeral for Love" that same year, later featured on the Electronic Saviors compilation. Her debut album Code Blue came out in 2018, followed by the remix double‑album Code Blue Reloaded in 2020 and the EP Out of Order in 2021. Her work often addressed mental health, with part of Code Blue proceeds supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Subsequent releases include the acoustic EP Ghosts (2022) and the full‑length Drama (2024). She has collaborated with the Joy Thieves, Walter Flakus of Stabbing Westward, and Julian Beeston, toured the United States, and performed as an opening act for Orgy, Cold, and Front Line Assembly.
