Sunday's Best, an American emo band, formed in 1997. The group consisted of guitarist Ian Moreno, singer/bassist Ed Reyes, drummer Tom Ackerman, and singer/guitarist Pedro Benito. Their career began at KXLU, Loyola Marymount University’s college radio station. In 1999, Sunday's Best released their first EP Where You Are Now. The band followed with their first album, Poised to Break, on Polyvinyl in 2000. Their second album, The Californian, showcased a cleaner pop sound and was released in 2002. The band’s music appeared frequently in media, including the Amped game series and shows like Clone High and Undergrads.
